A Unified Ecosystem: Dispatch Web-App + Contractor Native App

SUMMARY
Digital Fleet engaged us to unify the fragmented experiences of contractors, drivers, and dispatchers into a cohesive digital ecosystem. Their paper-heavy, disjointed workflow created inefficiencies and user frustration. In a strategic product framing engagement, I helped lead stakeholder workshops, conduct user research, and process mapping to define a clear product vision. This informed north star concepts for two MVPs—a Contractor mobile app and a Dispatch web app—supported by user flows, early prototypes, and testing. We delivered a pitch video, conceptual prototypes, a service blueprint, and feature roadmap to help secure investment and guide future development.

Google Next: An Annual Hybrid Live Event. Web-App Redesign
GOOGLE
SUMMARY
Google partnered with Nerdery to reimagine the digital experience for Next 2022, their flagship global event, with an ambitious goal: reach 250K registrants and engage 1 million developers. As lead designer, I helped redesign the responsive web app—introducing new features like localization via Google Translate, gamification through developer badges, and a new Developer Zone to centralize resources and exclusive content. Through these new features, the goal was to gain more retention and interaction on the web-app from users.
Our team also focused on simplifying the registration flow, improving the 24-hour Live Hub experience, and creating flexible content gating for different attendee types without compromising usability. With a tight April–October timeline, I collaborated closely with our Product Lead and Google stakeholders to scope features, prioritize backlogs, and guide the team through a fast-paced, milestone-driven design process that aligned with global launch timelines.

Streamlining a Web-App Experience for Students, Mentors, and Admins
GOOGLE SUMMER OF CODE
SUMMARY
As a co-lead product designer for Google Summer of Code’s platform redesign, I led the overhaul of both the public site and internal tools to improve usability for admins, mentors, and students. We addressed major UX pain points across registration and dashboards, streamlined complex workflows, and built a cohesive design system to support B2B and B2C use cases. The result is a more accessible, scalable platform that better supports Google Summer of Code’s mission of empowering early-career developers in open source.

I led the end-to-end redesign of Pawn America’s e-commerce website and built a modern, responsive design system in Figma after a decade without updates. The original site suffered from poor accessibility, broken features, and outdated, non-responsive UI—especially frustrating for a primarily mobile user base. My redesign introduced a clean, mobile-first experience and a robust design system, significantly improving usability and bringing the platform up to modern standards.

A Reimagined Mobile App Onboarding Experience
UNITED HEALTHCARE
SUMMARY
United Healthcare engaged our team to reimagine the member onboarding experience with a future-forward lens, looking three to five years ahead. The existing experience was outdated, frustrating for users, and lacked internal support for meaningful change. Our goal was to create a compelling, user-centered vision that could inspire stakeholders and build momentum for a better onboarding journey. Over the course of 3–4 weeks, we collaborated closely with the client to develop a storyboard, blue-sky high-level design concepts, and animated prototypes—culminating in a pitch video used to gain executive buy-in.
